Refund Policy
This policy explains how refunds work for ConfluenceMeter subscriptions. Payments are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record.
1. Summary
- We offer a 14-day refund window on your first purchase only (your initial subscription charge).
- Subscription renewals and subsequent charges are generally non-refundable unless required by law or approved as an exception.
- Canceling a subscription stops future renewals; access typically continues until the end of the current paid period.
2. What purchases are covered
This policy applies to ConfluenceMeter subscriptions purchased via Paddle checkout for our domain. If the Service is offered through other channels in the future, different policies may apply.
3. Eligibility and conditions (anti‑abuse)
Refund requests may be denied or reviewed if we detect or reasonably suspect:
- Fraudulent activity, chargeback abuse, or suspicious payment behavior.
- Abuse of the Service (e.g., scraping, automated extraction, bypassing limits).
- Violations of our Terms of Service.
Paddle may also apply its own fraud checks and buyer‑support processes.
4. How to request a refund
- Locate your order confirmation email and your order number.
- Submit a request through Paddle’s order support (the Merchant of Record).
- If you need product help, contact us at info@confluencemeter.com and include your order email and order number.
Please avoid chargebacks when possible
Chargebacks can lead to immediate account restrictions and increased fraud risk. If there’s a billing issue or you’re unhappy, contact support first so we can resolve it.
5. Taxes (VAT) and refunds
Paddle manages VAT/taxes and related documentation as Merchant of Record. If a refund is approved, Paddle processes the refund and handles applicable tax treatment according to its policies and legal obligations.
6. EU/UK digital services note (withdrawal rights)
Depending on your location and purchase type, you may have statutory cancellation/withdrawal rights. Where applicable, digital services may have exceptions once the service has started and you have received the benefit of the service. This policy does not limit non‑waivable consumer rights.
