3. How we use data and legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data under one or more of these legal bases:

  • Provide the Service (contract necessity): create accounts, enable features, and deliver paid access.
  • Account management and support (contract necessity and/or legitimate interests): help you with issues, respond to requests, and maintain the Service.
  • Security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests): protect accounts, prevent abuse, and defend the Service.
  • Compliance (legal obligation): tax, accounting, and legally required record-keeping (often handled by Paddle as MoR).
  • Analytics/marketing cookies (if enabled) (consent where required): see Cookie Policy.

4. Sharing and processors (third parties)

We may share data with service providers acting as processors to run the Service. Examples include:

  • Paddle (Merchant of Record): payments, tax handling, invoices/receipts, and billing support.
  • Supabase (or similar): authentication, database, and storage required for core functionality.
  • Infrastructure/hosting providers: to deliver the application, improve reliability, and protect against abuse.
  • Email tooling: transactional emails (e.g., confirmations, password resets) and support workflows.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to run the Service, comply with law, or protect security.

5. International transfers

Some providers may operate outside the EEA. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect data during transfers.

6. Data retention

  • We keep account and product data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service.
  • After deletion/closure, we may retain limited data for a reasonable period to meet legal obligations and for security, fraud prevention, and dispute handling.
  • Payment records are primarily maintained by Paddle in line with their legal obligations as Merchant of Record.

We use cookies and local storage for essential functions (authentication, preferences) and may use analytics cookies if enabled with consent where required. See Cookie Policy.
